A quick post to tell you about a local exhibit. This will be my second time participating in this event and I am thrilled to have again the opportunity to show my work outside the textile sphere.

Un court article pour vous annoncer une exposition locale. Ce sera ma deuxième participation à cet événement et je suis ravie d’avoir à nouveau l’occasion de montrer mon travail en dehors du domaine textile.

The event brings together local artists working with different media (watercolour, jewelry, photography, …). You can find the list of the 18 artists exhibiting this year with an example of their work here. The gallery, L’Essor, is located in the Vallée de Joux, more precisely Grand-Rue 2, 1347 Le Sentier.

L’événement regroupe des artistes de la région qui travaillent avec différent media (liste ci-dessous). Vous pouvez trouver la liste des 18 artistes qui exposent cette année avec un exemple de leur travail ici. La galerie, L’Essor, est située à la Vallée de Joux, plus précisément à Grand-Rue 2, 1347 Le Sentier.

I planned to exhibit four new small quilts mounted on canvas, along with a couple of older pieces depending on the available space. Actually, I better hurry up a bit if I want to have them completed next week …

J’ai prévu d’exposer quatre nouveaux petits quilts montés sur canevas, ainsi que quelques pièces plus anciennes selon l’espace disponible. En fait, je ferais bien de me dépêcher un peu si je veux les avoir terminés la semaine prochaine …
