Gameplay – A Finished Quilt

The idea behind this project was to use a Log Cabin style construction to surround and showcase circles in the centre of the design. L’idée derrière ce projet était d’utiliser une construction de style Log Cabin pour entourer et mettre en valeur des cercles au centre du design. I had also planned a mix of hand and machine quilting, with a focus on hand stitches. But my quilting design evolved in the process and called for a lighter proportion of hand quilting. 2024 Projects – November Update

A last update of my project list before the end of the year! I took a trip to South Germany with quilty friends to visit Color Improvisation 3 last weekend. The exhibition is held in the new palace of Meersburg, a lovely town located by Lake Constance. 2024 Projects – October Update

I made a lot of progress since the last time as I did not post an update at the end of September! Comme je n’ai pas posté de mise à jour fin septembre, j’ai beaucoup avancé depuis la dernière fois ! #4 – Bars & Dots Project I almost finished the first two parts, hand stitching cercles on the bakground in between other projects for which I had deadlines. I made this quilt in response to the Quiltcon Fabric Challenge for 2025. You may recognize the design as I initially designed it for Ego & Artifex, another challenge I took part in recently. This quilt was made specially for our 2024 group exhibit. This year challenge was simply to incorporate two given fabrics (no specific theme or technique) and a finished quilt size of 80cm x 100cm (about 31″ x 39″). 2024 Projects – August Update

As I am not a fan of hot weather, I spent my time inside this past month, working on my projects and preparing our group exhibit. Upcoming Exhibit

Our local quilting group has an exhibit every three years and the next one is coming shortly.
