Block #13 – Turnstile |
Trimming …
Ajustage …
Jess at Elven Garden Quilts, who designed this latest block, proposed a two-fabric version. I preferred however use more prints as Alyce did. You can see both versions here. It is interesting to see how the fabric choice or placement can make the same block different.

Vous pouvez voir les deux versions ici. C’est intéressant de voir comment le choix ou le placement des tissus peut rendre un même bloc différent.
Block #14 – Introspection |
I am linking up with Alyce for Sew Cute Tuesday and Kelly for NTT.
Lovely color scheme. Visiting from Sew Cute Tuesday.
De jolis blocs avec de belles couleurs ! Toujours aussi moderne but sooo chic ! 😉
I love the colors and for me, the more different prints make it even better!
Your coral version of Introspection is very lovely and solves the problem of too much pale background. Love your fabric choices. I'm on Sew Cute Tuesday also and did a different background for Turnstile, because I felt the bits of color just floated in too much white, my background for the set of blocks. I'm planning to change up Introspection as you did. Nice to see your work.
Sorry, I got the block names confused. The Turnstile all in coral was so nice I did not recognize it. Well done.
It's a lovely block Sophie, I love your interpretation too. You always seem to have the most beautiful fabrics. 🙂
I love your fabric choices too and absolutely agree with your decision to use more prints, not just a couple: it works very well.
Your colors are wonderful. Interesting blocks too.
