Earlier this month the goal I set for January One Monthly Goal was to complete a top with my improv curves blocks. Not only my goal is achieved, I am thrilled about the result ! :-))

At that moment only nine blocks were pieced and I had envisioned the two plain borders in Essex Linen fabric. I finally settled on a larger size quilt than I first had in mind and made six more blocks.

In my previous post I shared about how I hide thread tails when machine quilting. Thank you so much for taking part in the discussion both in the comments of the blog post and on Instagram. I will try the tips you mentioned at the next ‘burying threads’ session !

J'attends ton quilting :-)

I like the interest added by the one striped fabric. Nice overall effect. Claire aka knitnkwilt

Oh my gosh that is just SO beautiful. And I tell you, I don't even like brown. But it is just so perfect on your quilt top. Stunning! I wish I can make this, do you have a pattern?
