IPod pouch

Some time ago I saw on Svetlana’s blog S.O.T.A.K. Handmade a pouch I added straight away on my to do list.
I bought the pattern designed by Michelle Patterns and made a new pouch for my IPod. The original pattern is sized for a notebook. So I reduced the pieces at 60%.

Il y a quelques temps, j’ai vu sur le blog de Svetlana S.O.T.A.K Handmade une pochette que j’ai ajoutée directement sur ma liste de projets.
J’ai acheté le patron dessiné par Michelle Patterns et fait une nouvelle pochette pour mon IPod. Le patron original est dimensionné pour un cahier. J’ai donc réduit les pièces à 60%.

I’m glad I could find at last a use for this chevron fabric ! I had it in my stash for a while.
Je suis contente d’avoir enfin trouvé une utilisation pour ce tissu chevron ! Je l’avais depuis un certain temps dans ma réserve.

I had a lot of fun sewing this pouch. I would like to make others with this pattern. But I’ll make some changes : use two different fabrics for the outside and sew a velcro strip instead of a snap fastener. Oh, and with that size the inside pocket for pens is not very useful … I followed too much carefully the instructions 😉

J’ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à coudre cette pochette. J’aimerais en faire d’autres avec le même patron. Mais je vais apporter quelques changements : utiliser deux tissus différents pour l’extérieur et poser un velcro au lieu du bouton pression. Oh, et avec cette taille, la poche intérieure pour les crayons n’est pas très utile … J’ai suivi un peu trop précisément les instructions 😉
