I take no pleasure in making the same quilt twice. But for small projects I will happily make several pieces of the same pattern.
I made these three pouches with the pattern I used for my IPod pouch.
This time I used two different fabrics for the outside.
And a velcro strip instead of a snap fastener.
I thought to put this pattern aside for a while. But I was quite finished when my son asked me one for his Ipod … So I will make another one in a style more suitable for a boy. Probably with “Star Wars” fabrics rather than birds and flowers …
Have a lovely weekend !
Linking up to Finish it up Friday.
These are beautiful and the quality of your sewing is so precise! Very nice!
Lovely! I have made a few twinned quilts for efficiency. I like being able to cut multiple pieces at the same time. That said, I have never gone back to redo an old project. There are too many new things to make. The little bags look so practical and pretty
What lovely bags! I don't like making the same pattern twice either, but sometimes it's good to make an exception. Nice work!
I really like your choice of fabrics. So fresh and modern. Visiting from FIUF.
They are so pretty and your finishing is stunning! I've never made a quilt more than once but little things are easier to repeat, especially dresses for my little ones!
Yes, yes! I'm loving these pouches. I like to make pouches to have on hand for presents and such. Your idea of reducing the pattern to suit your needs is brilliant!
