When I read Amanda’s post about her pincushion party, I realized it was time to make another pincushion for myself … The one I have been using over the past few years is really in a poor state. The fabrics are worn out and faded by the sun.
I chose Carolyn Friedlander fabrics for the nine patch and linen for the border.

You can see here every day throughout the month of September a new pincushion. Some of them are really sophisticated (with pockets for scissors and pens !).

Linking up to Finish it up Friday.
Pincushions seem to be cropping up in my life everywhere! I love yours. I really must get some made for myself. What did you use to stuff it with?
Sweet pincushion.
I used a filling made of synthetic fibres manufactured in France by ARTHUR. I like very much this one and I used it for a few cushions so far.
LOVE it!! Great choice of fabrics!
Super cute, love the fabrics.
I stuffed mine with pillow filling…. works great. The pic of Amanda's colorful little pincushions nestled in a simple wooden bowl is inspiring.. .. adds a sweet and comfy touch .
