Quilt Series
My Offset series explores the use of a minimalist pieced background with the overlay of a polka dot pattern. The colour of the dots is influenced by the element of background behind.
Ma série Offset explore l'utilisation d'un fond piécé minimaliste avec la superposition d'un motif à pois. La couleurs des pois est influencée par l'élément de fond derrière.
Long Term Project
This project was designed and started late 2023. One of the ideas was to create a design which involved a long term hand appliqué work.
Ce projet a été dessiné et commencé fin 2023. Une des idées était de créer un design qui implique un travail d'appliqué main à long terme.

This was the project I brought with me at sewing days with friends throughout the year 2024 !
C'est le projet que j'ai emmené avec moi tout au long de l'année 2024 lors des journées couture avec mes amies !
Quilting Design
The radiating grid quilting motif was chosen to add movement to the design.
Pour le quilting, j'ai choisi un motif de grille rayonnant pour ajouter du mouvement au design.
Facing
Though I usually prefer a binding to finish a quilt, I went for a facing method as I didn't want to frame the design.
Bien que je préfère un binding pour terminer un quilt, j'ai opté pour une méthode facing car je ne voulais pas encadrer le design.
On Display
I entered Offset II into the Modern category of Festival of Quilts. It is currently on its way to Birmingham and will be on display from 31st July until 3rd August 2025.
