November is just around the corner and this week I had in my calendar to prepare my upcoming Improv class.
My intention was to make sample blocks that I thought would be useful for understanding the assembly process.
Still on track …
Encore sur les rails …
I tried a colour combination I had in mind for a while and started to deviate from the goal …
Only a few blocks was the original plan. But … making the small spikes (on the left of the picture above) made me want to explore a bit more this shape.
I got sidetracked a bit from my agenda but this unschedule project is on topic anyway and I will be able to use it for the class 😉
I like how you let go of your plan, and created something new! You just can't stop creating and marvelling at what emerges! Wonderful!
Love the really wide, scrappy flying geese! Very fun to see your quilt play!:)
I am amazed how you bring patterns and fabrics into beautiful quilts. How do design your patterns? What motivates you? Where do you find your ideas?
so interesting to see how your 'work' of a few samples grew into such a great improv piece!
Hi Carole, I'd love to get in touch with you but your email address his hidden. If you happen to see my answer, please contact me by email. Sophie
Love how you got from HRTs to that improv composition. It is lovely! xo Melanie
oh fun! I love that you veered off track just a bit – obviously enjoying the process! 😉 Beautiful outcome!
ces pointes donnent vraiment une jolie dynamique!
