Originally I had planned to write today a blog post about some pouches I made these past two weeks. But I can’t hardly focuse on something other than the amazing news I got yesterday. Travelling quilts

Last May I entered two improv’ mini quilts in Curated Quilts challenge. Connexions which was my favourite didn’t make it but Ensemble was accepted and I sent it to the magazine for the photo shoot. I received my quilt back last week along with a complimentary copy of issue #5. Bubble Gum – A finished quilt

That was hard to keep the secret for so long … I finished this wall hanging last Winter as you can noticed it on the last picture. Birmingham Festival of Quilts

I had sent two quilts to be displayed at this year Festival of Quilts in Birmingham (UK). The first one was Retro that I entered in the Modern Quilt category. Travelling quilts

I have an unfortunate tendency to consider that my quilts are finished as soon as the hanging sleeve is attached and the binding is stitched onto the back. So I had to catch up with some quilt labelling over the week end. Quiltcon from home

Quiltcon is in full swing in Pasadena at the moment. I had to cancel my trip to California but hopefully I am enjoying the event somewhat through social medias. Quiltcon submissions

I got this week great news that I am excited to share with you ! Two of the three quilts I submitted for Quiltcon 2018 were accepted. Infinité IV will be displayed in the Improvisation category. J’ai reçu cette semaine une super nouvelle que je suis ravie de partager avec vous ! Deux des trois quilts que j’avais soumis pour Quiltcon 2018 ont été acceptés. Infinité IV sera exposé dans la catégorie Improvisation. I entered Orange Pop in Small quilts category. Most of my quilts falls within Small quilts category (36″ or smaller per side) since I often work on small formats…. +

La ville au loin – Mini quilt challenge

Last year I signed up for a challenge organized by the Swiss section of France Patchwork guild. I was thrilled to take part in and I have to say that I didn’t really think about the rules at that moment … I realized afterwards the theme ‘Tell me a story’ suggested for me a figurative quilt. I prefer working on abstract or block based quilts, without meaning.
