One of the upsides of self-isolating ?! My agenda became very light for this Spring 😉 So when Julie @builtaquilt asked me if I was willing to test her new pattern I was happy to agree ! Horizon Quilt – Testers

A few weeks ago, as I finished writing instructions for my Horizon quilt, I called for testers on Instagram. I did myself a few pattern testing for other designers and I know it takes some time. That means make notes along the process, double-check measurements and validate instructions. So I was happy to find several people willing to be my “guinea pigs”. Quilts patterns

Last June, when I posted pictures of my Horizon quilt, I mentioned my intention to publish a pattern. It took me some time to get started … but this project is now well under way. I redesigned in inches my original Throw size quilt. I also did the maths for a Baby size version and made it in a completely different palette. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of testing ‘Diaspora’, a pattern designed by my friend Pachy @psbquilts. While at Quiltcon last February I bought a bundle of Snap to Grid collection by Kimberly Kight for Cotton and Steel Fabrics that I was very anxious to use. Mountains and Valleys Pattern

Do you remember that design ?! My friend Julie @builtaquilt has released her first pattern today ! And actually you already had a glimpse at it here since I tested the Baby quilt size for her last Spring. Vous souvenez-vous de ce design ?! Mon amie Julie @builtaquilt lance son premier modèle aujourd’hui ! Et en fait vous en avez déjà eu un aperçu ici puisque j’ai testé pour elle la version Baby quilt ce printemps. Baby quilt

One more finished project from my list for the Finish-Along, just in time for the second quarter ! Pink Invaders … Is the kind of title you end up with when you ask your guys some help to find a proper name for your quilt. Especially when you have at home three geeks who often refer to Science Fiction movies and video games … And since I had no better idea, Pink Invaders it is ! Pink Invaders (Les envahisseurs roses) … C’est le genre de titre qu’on obtient quand on demande à ses gars de l’aide pour trouver un nom approprié à un quilt. A few projects in the works

I worked on different projects these past few days. One of them is pattern testing for Julie, @builtaquilt on Instagram.
