My Plus Sign quilt is the only finished project from the previous list but since I knew I wouldn’t have a lot of time for working on these WIPs I am pretty happy. It is already time to write a new list for the 2018 Finish-A-Long ! But first here are the two finished projects from my previous list. I didn’t manage to achieve my February goal that was quilting and binding a small top. Actually I finished to stitch the binding to the back one day too late for the link-up … You can see my Pink Invaders quilt here in case you missed my previous post. Je n’ai pas réussi à atteindre mon but de février qui était de quilter et poser le binding sur un petit top. My quilt tops can be divided into two categories. First is ‘Hope-quilting-add-some-interest’ and second ‘Hope-quilting-won’t-ruin-it’. And this top which was actually not on the schedule definitely belongs to the second category ! It is a happy end for these four blocks I made with wrong measurements when pattern testing for Julie @builtaquilt. Finishing this small wall hanging quilt is my goal for February One Monthly Goal. The Finish-A-Long is a place to find motivation to complete unfinished projects. Listing your WIPs and then trying to cross them off the list is a good way. Making the list public is even more effective … 😉 The FAL is hosted by a community of bloggers and I really appreciate their involvement and support all year long. This year, in addition to the Finish-A-Long, I decided to join in One Monthly Goal, a party hosted by Patty at Elm Street Quilts. Basically, at the beginning of each month you set a goal and at the end of the month you share the results. This goal can be a step in the making and not necessarily a finish.
