I completed the second top and as usual at this point of the process I am procrastinating … I always feel like I am ruining my piecing with the quilting, both machine and hand quilting by the way. I had in mind from the start to machine quilt gentle curves on this top but I am not sure now I made the right choice. I am happy with the design but I would maybe prefer hand quilting … I give myself a few days to think about it and decide if I start over the quilting :-((
J’ai terminé mon deuxième top et comme d’habitude à ce stade je suis en train de tergiverser … J’ai toujours l’impression de gâcher mon travail de piécé avec le quilting, que ce soit un quilting machine ou main d’ailleurs. J’avais en tête depuis le début de quilter à la machine des courbes douces sur ce top mais je ne suis pas sûre maintenant d’avoir fait le bon choix. Je suis contente du design, mais peut-être que je préférerais un quilting main … Je me donne quelques jours pour y réfléchir et décider si je recommence à zéro le quilting :-((
I started to stitch circles for the third quilt with an other colour scheme.
J’ai commencé à appliquer des cercles pour le troisième quilt avec une autre combinaison de couleurs.
Today is day #233 and since I am not quite up to date with stitching my circles I will try to catch up in the afternoon.
Aujourd’hui c’est le jour #233 et comme je ne suis pas tout à fait à jour avec mes appliqués, je vais essayer de rattraper mon retard cet après-midi.

I am a big fan of organic quilting and love the quilting on your red and gray quilt. I like the way you have overlapped your blocks too. Very fun!
From what I can see your quilting is well done. If it makes you happy stick with it, if not change to hand quilting.

I really like the quilting that you have done on your quilt. I think it complements the circles and fabrics quite nicely.
I like your gentle curves quilting too, and because I absolutely hate unpicking quilting I wouldn't change a thing! Having said that, it's your piece and your decision. I hope you can decide soon.

I like the quilting on the red & gray quilt – the colors and the quilting give it a very contemporary feel.

Moi aussi j'aime beaucoup les courbes douces pour le quilting, ce serait dommage de défaire. Et la nouvelle combinaison de couleurs est superbe.
Your work is beautiful! I know am absolutely sure I will have to begin my dot quilt too! So pretty! Your color play is fun and beautiful! Your quilting is lovely, but then again, you have to be happy with it. I'm sure the end result will be gorgeous!
