When I started this blog in Spring 2015 I created a ‘Inspiration’ page in which I listed some of my favourite blogs and websites related to quilting. Preparing … Two weeks ago already … Some small items I really enjoyed making these past two years. I was so thrilled with my new tote bag last Spring that I directly cut pieces for making three more of them. And these pieces were waiting since then …Au printemps dernier, j’étais tellement emballée par mon nouveau sac que j’avais directement coupé des pièces pour en réaliser trois autres. Et ces pièces attendaient depuis … I always have a lot of fun choosing fabrics for these small projects. I used Maker Maker collection for this one, a linen / cotton blend designed by Sarah Golden, combined to Cotton and Steel prints for the lining.J’ai toujours beaucoup de plaisir à… +

Only five days to go … Our group exhibition will open on Saturday 2 September and will run until Sunday 10 September. If you live in Switzerland you may have seen our printed posters and flyers which show a wrong closing date. A misunderstanding within our group when designing the poster that we only could correct for the digital format. I completed my Improv log Cabin before end August, so on time for our group exhibition !J’ai terminé mon Log Cabin improvisé avant fin août, donc à temps pour notre exposition de groupe ! I call it ‘La vie est trop courte’ which can be translate as ‘Life is too short’. The name was inspired by the texts on the printed fabric such as ‘Go for it’.Je l’ai appelé “La vie est trop courte”.
