Luna Lovequilts - A finished quilt - Diaspora pattern designed by psbquilts - Snap to Grid collection by Kimberly Kight

The design is more classic than what I usually make but I think the fabric choice adds a modern touch to the quilt.

Luna Lovequilts - A finished quilt - in the wild
Husband fighting against the wind …

It is a throw size and so I decided to use a wool batting to get a comfy and warm quilt.

For the same reason I chose to not quilt it too densely and hand quilted it using a thick thread.

Another photo shoot outside, on a sunny day and with my son this time.

This quilt does look a little different than your usual, but it's really lovely! I like the almost-transparency that appears in several places. The outdoor photos, with the snow, also enhance the quilt. I adore using wool in my quilts – ones that I'm hand-quilting (right now), and one that I'm machine quilting (right now). It's nice you can use your son as a prop! I need a prop too. :-)
