Despite the heat … I got a lot of work done on two quilts I would like to submit to next Quiltcon.
Malgré la chaleur … J’ai bien avancé sur deux quilts que j’aimerais soumettre au prochain Quiltcon.
Bold design and bright colours for the second one as well !

I designed these two projects completely on my computer and even chose the colours while designing. So I was in need of a bit of improvisation … I don’t know where these blocks will lead me or even if this work is worth a finish but I am enjoying the process at the moment !
J’ai dessiné complètement ces deux projets sur mon ordinateur et même choisi les couleurs en les dessinant. J’ai donc eu besoin d’un peu d’improvisation … Je ne sais pas où vont me conduire ces blocs ou même si ce travail mérite d’être terminé mais pour le moment j’apprécie la réalisation !
I entered my quilt Flashback in the Modern Quilts category for the upcoming Festival of Quilts in Birmingham and it is now on his way to England
J’ai inscrit mon quilt Flashback dans la catégorie Modern Quilts pour le prochain Festival of Quilts de Birmingham et il est maintenant en route pour l’Angleterre.
It has been warm here even though we live at 1000 metres above sea level. But for the first time these past few years I am going through summer temperatures without being totally in a zombie mode … Let’s hope it lasts ! :-))
Il a fait très chaud ici même si nous vivons à 1000 mètres d’altitude. Mais pour la première fois depuis plusieurs années, je traverse les températures estivales sans être complètement en mode zombie … Espérons que cela dure ! :-))

We get those very hot spells, too, and I’m right at sea level. On the water, as well. These new quilt designs look very promising. Can’t wait to see them! I’ll be at QuiltCon and am looking forward to seeing them on display. Hope we get to meet. That would be one of the highlights of the QuiltCon adventure for me.

Si les températures te ralentissent et que tu produis tout ça, je demande à voir ce que tu créerais si les températures te boostaient !!! Très jolies créations. J'aime beaucoup ce petit motif gris, blanc qui arque tes blocs. Curieusement, il donne énormément de mouvement. Un effet cinétique vraiment intéressant !!! Bonne continuation. Nous qui sommes dans l'extrême sud-est du pays, nous sommes sous la clim' pour survivre. Très, très, très chaud !!! Je suis bien moins courageuse, je t'avoue….
Oh my! You're thinking about QuiltCon entries already. Though, I know that entering is open already. You will surely have one or more quilts accepted. Everything you do is "a winner," and those bright solids are sure eye-catching. Congrats on having a quilt shown at Birmingham. I hope you get to go and see it exhibited.
