Girl Power – A finished Quilt

Girl Power is my response to the Red Shoes Challenge put together by patCHquilt, the Swiss Quilters Association. Basically, the guidelines were : a contemporary style quilt of up to 100 cm x 100 cm, the colour red being a key point in the design. But when our president first introduced the challenge in the newsletter, she referred to Red Shoes as a symbol of fight against violence towards women, as well as strength and confidence. Exhibit in Soleure

I had been invited by patCHquilt, the Swiss Quilters Association, to show my work during the general assembly. It was held this year in Soleure on April 1st. Quiltcon 2023 – Part I

That was my fifth time attending Quiltcon and each time in a different city. The event was held in Atlanta this year.I saw great quilts but what makes Quiltcon so special is meeting people. January Recap

The 100 Day Project I am still motivated and excited about this project though I am a bit behind … For different reasons, I had not been able to work on my blocks for five consecutive days and decided to slightly delay the end of the project. Actually my intention was first to catch up but on second thought I realized it didn’t really make sense. Polka Dot – A finished quilt

Polka Dot is the last quilt I finished this year. People who came at ART-TEX exhibit in Avenches mid October already saw it in person but I hadn’t shared pictures of the finished quilt here yet. Polka Dot est mon dernier quilt terminé cette année.
