Stay focused

‘Stay focused’ … even if you work on a very simple piecing project is my new motto ! It sounds my trip to Austin for attending Quiltcon was ages ago and, if I think about it, it is less than two months … Have you also lost track of time lately ?! Piers – Pattern Testing

One of the upsides of self-isolating ?! My agenda became very light for this Spring 😉 So when Julie @builtaquilt asked me if I was willing to test her new pattern I was happy to agree ! I chose the Baby size option. I know I know … the easiest choice when testing a pattern … 😉 Un des bons côtés du confinement ?! Two quilt tops finished

The result of being confined at home … Le résultat du confinement à la maison … I finished the piecing step of two current projects over the week. And they are both basted ! I have to share my working space with my husband who has been working from home since last Tuesday. I was sick for a few days last week and stayed warm, under a quilt. I was able to hand stitch meanwhile anyway … J’ai été malade quelques jours la semaine dernière et je suis restée au chaud, sous un quilt. New project – Inspired by a mural

When I posted my list of projects last week, I put first a new project inspired by a mural I saw in Nashville. I made a lot of progress over the weekend and here is what it looks like now ! On my design wall

I kept exploring further free form curves lately. Dernièrement, j’ai continué d’explorer les courbes coupées à main levée. Some of these blocks will probably remain exercises … Certains de ces blocs vont probablement rester au stade d’exercice … While others will be developped and included in a larger project, Alors que d’autres seront développés et inclus dans un plus grand projet, And a couple of them will be finished at the actual size. Quilting in progress

I hadn’t a lot of time for quilting this past month but I managed to find a few hours here and there anyway. Je n’ai pas eu beaucoup de temps pour le patchwork ce dernier mois mais j’ai quand même réussi à trouver quelques heures ici et là. Improv curve top

You maybe remember the improv curve project I shared last week. After having pieced a few more blocks I thought it was a bit boring and that it needed a little something like the addition of an extra colour or a print. A few new projects

Despite the heat … I got a lot of work done on two quilts I would like to submit to next Quiltcon. Malgré la chaleur … J’ai bien avancé sur deux quilts que j’aimerais soumettre au prochain Quiltcon.
