Our local quilting group has an exhibit every three years and the next one is coming shortly. Notre groupe local de patchwork a une exposition tous les trois ans et la prochaine aura lieu prochainement. As usual, each member made a piece specifically for the exhibition. 2024 Projects – July Update

After a three month break it wasn’t easy to get back to my quilting projects … But I finally jumped back into work and managed to get my motivation back! Inspiration

Hi there ! I am back from our trip in the UK ! It has been hard to return home after three months travelling but I am slowly getting back to my routine … Though we mostly spent our time walking (in the middle of nowhere), we had planned a few days here and there for visiting cities. Construction – A Finished Quilt

The initial idea behind this project was to incorporate characteristics and design elements of Memphis style, an Italian movement in furniture and interior design of the eighties. L’idée initiale derrière ce projet était d’intégrer des caractéristiques et éléments du style Memphis, un mouvement italien des années 80 dans le mobilier et la décoration d’intérieur. Fragment – A finished quilt

Fragment is my response to patCHquilt challenge, Ego & Artifex. We were asked to choose an artwork from the permanent collection of the Kunsthaus in Zurich and use it as inspiration to create a quilt. Pivot – A finished quilt

I rarely finish projects started in classes since I rather consider them as exercises. So I surprised myself when I decided to complete a block I made in a workshop last October! Quiltcon – Part II

Though I started in Part I with sharing quilts, Quiltcon is all about the people you meet. So cool to catch up with this amazing group of friends! Quiltcon – Part I

I am back from Quiltcon and ready to share some pictures! The event was held at the convention center in downtown Raleigh (North Carolina, US). I particularly appreciated the location and the layout of the show this year. It was also easy to get outside for having a break from the crowd of the show.
