Though I started in Part I with sharing quilts, Quiltcon is all about the people you meet. So cool to catch up with this amazing group of friends! I am back from Quiltcon and ready to share some pictures! The event was held at the convention center in downtown Raleigh (North Carolina, US). I particularly appreciated the location and the layout of the show this year. It was also easy to get outside for having a break from the crowd of the show. That was my fifth time attending Quiltcon and each time in a different city. The event was held in Atlanta this year.I saw great quilts but what makes Quiltcon so special is meeting people. Quiltcon, the convention dedicated to Modern Quilts, was held in Phoenix (Arizona) this year and I had the chance to attend it again. It is my favorite quilt show not only for the unique quilts, the ambiant enthusiasm and the lectures (I attended eight !), but for the positive and friendly atmosphere that makes it so special. So I am going to start this recap by sharing the work of my friends.
