Handwork Project

I bought this fabric bundle at Quiltcon back in February and I have been trying to find an idea to use it since then. My intention is to finish this project with big hand stitches as I have the perfect matching threads. My design isn’t finalized yet but I decided to start with applique circles anyway (I needed a portable project!). They probably will be in the centre of the quilt.

J’ai acheté cet assortiment de tissus à Quiltcon en février dernier et j’ai essayé depuis de trouver une idée pour l’utiliser. Mon intention est de terminer ce projet avec des points à la main car j’ai des fils parfaitement assortis. Mon design n’est toujours pas finalisé mais j’ai décidé de commencer quand même avec des cercles appliqués (j’avais besoin d’un projet main pour une réunion !). Ils seront probablement au centre du quilt.

Group Challenge

100 Day Project

This project will be completed shortly as I made the second last block earlier today!

Ce projet sera terminé sous peu car j’ai réalisé l’avant dernier bloc un peu plus tôt aujourd’hui !

Design Wall

I have a new design wall! 🙂 On the right of the picture you can see what I used for my works in progress until recently. This project was completed on time for the next step of my 100 Day Project. It will be very useful for improv piecing my blocks and for working on different projects alongside.

J’ai un nouveau mur de design ! 🙂 Sur la droite de la photo, vous pouvez voir ce que j’utilisais jusqu’à récemment pour mes travaux en cours. Ce projet a été terminé à temps pour la prochaine étape de mon 100 Day Project. Ce sera très utile pour assembler mes blocs de manière improvisée et travailler sur différents projets en parallèle.

In Conversation – Mini quilt challenge

My Twenty-Nine mini quilt is on its way to Australia where it will be exhibit in at least two galleries (one in Sydney and one in Melbourne)!
