Maryline Collioud-Robert Just one day left to see this exhibition in person! Maryline is showing some of her works from the past thirty years. The quilts are beautifully showcased, with a good lighting, in a lovely place, surrounded by nature in the Gorges de l’Areuse (Neuchâtel area, Switzerland). Horizon – A finished quilt

I am excited to show you at last Horizon ! It was originally designed for BeeBook, a quilting book written by my blogging friend Katell Renon at La Ruche des Quilteuses. The general tone of this book is creativity and improvisation and then the patterns included are to be used rather as a source of inspiration. Katell gives a few directions and advice for readers to make their own projects from the provided patterns. Je suis contente de vous montrer enfin Horizon ! I am back from my trip to Quiltcon in Nasville and have a lot of pictures to share with you. I need to sort them before though … I will probably write more than one post about the show since it will be hard to choose among all my favourite quilts … But in the meantime I have other news that I can speak of today. Work in progress and publication

Even though I planned to do it I did not post anything last week. Some of you maybe thought I was unwell but it was just laziness 🙂 So here is a round-up of my progresses these past two weeks. In addition to finishing a secret project I will talk about mid February, I worked on three projects that are on my FAL list. I am almost finished with #1, binding four mini Improv quilts. Travelling quilts

Last May I entered two improv’ mini quilts in Curated Quilts challenge. Connexions which was my favourite didn’t make it but Ensemble was accepted and I sent it to the magazine for the photo shoot. I received my quilt back last week along with a complimentary copy of issue #5. En mai dernier, j’ai inscrit deux petits quilts improvisés pour le challenge de Curated Quilts. Connexions, mon préféré, n’a pas réussi mais Ensemble a été accepté et je l’ai envoyé au magazine pour la séance photo. J’ai reçu mon quilt en retour la semaine dernière avec une copie offerte du numéro 5. . Neon – A finished quilt

I can finally share a secret project I worked on this past Winter ! Neon is a pattern I designed for France Patchwork magazine and that was released in June issue. My source of inspiration for the design was a work made by the American textile artist Anni Albers. Je peux enfin révéler un projet secret sur lequel j’ai travaillé cet hiver !
